The FPA Receives Rare Giving Grant

The Facial Pain Association is pleased to announce that we have been awarded a Rare Giving Grant through the EveryLife Foundation for Rare Diseases. In October, Brandi Underwood, the FPA’s Manager of Development Research, and Advocacy, applied for this prestigious grant, and we are thrilled to share that the FPA was selected to receive the full $5,000 sponsorship. These funds will directly support our efforts to engage advocates in public policy at the 2025 FPA Conference.

The Rare Giving Grant program, an important initiative of the EveryLife Foundation, provides patient organizations with vital resources to empower the rare disease community in advocacy and public policy. In total, the EveryLife Foundation awarded $166,880 in grants to 39 organizations as part of its 2024 program.

“The Facial Pain Association is honored to receive a Rare Giving Grant through the EveryLife Foundation. Advocacy is key to progress, and with this funding, we will be able to empower and amplify the voices of our community,” said Brandi Underwood. “The 2025 FPA Conference will provide people living with facial pain the tools and resources they need to influence public policy in a meaningful way. We appreciate the EveryLife Foundation’s commitment to the rare disease community and are excited to partner to serve people living with facial pain.”

This recognition and support from the EveryLife Foundation underscores the importance of the FPA’s mission to provide support, education, and advocacy to everyone affected by facial pain. Stay tuned for more updates on the 2025 FPA Conference and how this grant will make an impact!
