You Can Help the Development of an Intervention for Chronic Orofacial Pain

Researchers from Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School are conducting a study aiming to Researchers from Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School are conducting a study aimed at understanding psychosocial factors and needs of individuals with chronic orofacial pain. This study will inform the development of an intervention to improve psychosocial outcomes and involves the completion of some online questionnaires, taking approximately 20-25 minutes to complete. The survey is anonymous, does not contain any identifiable information, and has been approved by the Massachusetts General Hospital Institutional Review Board. Participation can help the development of a program specifically tailored for the needs and issues confronted by patients with orofacial pain. You may obtain more information and participate now by clicking the button below.

Dr. Jonathan Greenberg is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Harvard Medical School and a Research Staff Psychologist at Massachusetts General Hospital. His work primarily focuses on developing and testing mindfulness-based and mind-body interventions for individuals with chronic pain and other populations. 

Dr. Jafar Bakhshaie is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Harvard Medical School and a Clinical and Research Staff Psychologist at Massachusetts General Hospital. His work primarily focuses on developing and testing technology enhanced psychosocial interventions for individuals with comorbid medical illness and substance use problems, with specific focus on health disparity populations.
